Topeka Rescue Mission

“Bringing help and hope to homeless and impoverished neighbors in Topeka.” The mission and ministry of TRM is one we are proud to be a part of. There are so many hurting and struggling people in our community, and we want to love them the way Jesus commands us to love. For ways to get involved in this ministry, visit their website.

New Hope Food Pantry

Food is a basic necessity that we all need to survive. Part of loving our neighbors and Topeka community is giving and serving food to those in need. In addition to giving food to the pantry, our staff goes several times a year to hand out coffee, cocoa, and donuts to those standing in line, and loving on them while they wait. This is a great time for us to be in the community and create opportunities to share the gospel.

Central Park Monday Night Meals

Heather Ashton, a member of our church, has a heart and passion for feeding hungry children in the community. At Central Park, kids have access to a free, hot meal. Sometimes, this is their only meal of the week someone has prepared for them.

If you’d like to join in this ministry, Heather is always looking for people to volunteer to make meals, make donations, and give monetary gifts to help her continue feeding these children. Donna Hickman is helping her with volunteers, so hit the ‘Contact Donna’ button below to sign up to volunteer!

Centro Biblico El Camino

El Camino is our Hispanic church plant that meets in The Peak every Sunday @ 11am.

Part of being on mission for Christ is crossing cultures for the sake of sharing the Gospel. The pastor of El Camino is Jonathan Castillo. He and his family faithfully serve Jesus in a part of Topeka that does not have an evangelism-based church.

With 25-30 families faithfully attending church every week, El Camino is growing every week – not just on Sundays, but in bible studies as well. Whether you speak Spanish or not, Jonathan would be more than happy to get you involved in the work God is doing through his church.

Estudios Bíblicos: Every Thursday from 6:30-7:30pm

Operation Christmas Child

We are focused on sending hope to children throughout the nations. This program sends shoe boxes filled with Christmas gifts to children in countries that don’t have the opportunity to receive these kinds of gifts.

Our church is one of the drop off centers for Topeka. Next November, be on the lookout for the red and green boxes so you and your family can fill one for a child across the world. Here is their website where you can get more details.

Cooperative Program (Lottie Moon & Annie Armstrong)

Each year we take up offerings in honor of these ladies; offerings go towards furthering the gospel to the nations. Lottie Moon offering is taken during the Christmas season, and Annie Armstrong offering is taken during the Easter season.
