Every person who lives long enough will experience joy and grief, success and failure, hope and despair, health and sickness, life and death. Our world is filled with hurting people who need someone to help them when the going gets tough. Hurting people need someone who will listen. They need someone who can help them walk through the darkness and discover hope and light. They need someone to help them sort through numerous options and make healthy decisions about what to do in difficult situations. They need friends who love them unconditionally. Chances are, you have experienced these needs at some time in your life.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 says, “Praise be to the God and Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
The counselors in this ministry are professionals but they have also walked through troubles and have experienced the healing and comfort God has provided through others. God has placed on the counselors hearts the desire to pass on that comfort to you.
